Sunday 28th July. 1400 – 1450.

Cloudy all day with slight intermittent drizzle. Track remains dry.

Disappointing after yesterday but still managed to find creatures worth photographing. The Common Brushtail Possum remains in the same spot but ignored me today. The Carpet Snake also a fixture and for the first time showing tip of nose. A handsome Pacific Baza visited me and the solitary Platypus although surrounded by dense water weed provided a few unusual views.

Platypus – Orthorhynchus anatinus

Interesting decoration
Almost vertical shot. I can see right down your nose!

Pacific Baza – Aviceda subcristata

Nice view of crest and bill
Good set of talons.

Carpet Snake – Morelia spilota

Tip of nose visible at top.
