Saturday 27th July 2019. 1300 – 1350

No Rain. Overcast with sunny periods. Light SE breeze. Track dry. Left home after lunch with Thomas. Common Brushtail Possum at Alumbah Pocket was kind enough to show face today and within 2 mins had spotted a Limholtz’s Tree Kangaroo from Lloyd’s Suspension Bridge. Well concealed by foliage but managed to find an angle where he was semi-exposed to x12 telephoto. Moved on to one of yesterdays Green Ringtail Possums opposite Snodgrass’s Pool and visited the Carpet Snake still in the same tree. Saw 4 platypus along the length of the creek, the last being in the Viewing Pool but only 2 were feeling cooperative.
