Monday 29th July. 1300 – 1350.

Mostly sunny. Light breeze. No rain. Track Dry. Waited again until air warmed up and bees active. Brushtail Possum and Carpet Snake still in residence. 3 Platypus seen in various locations, one near Log Jam happy to pose. Yellow-Faced Honeyeater observed swooping down to surface of water on 4 occasions. Unable to see if picking up insects or perhaps drinking? Another flight of Sarus Cranes seen. Mother and joey Green Ringtail Possum in regular spot although baby having early afternoon ziz. Numerous visitors on track today and many had opportunity to be introduced to GRPs
