This is a comprehensive list of all birds that I have seen and photographed along the Petersons Creek walk or the adjoining streets within 100 mtrs of the Creek.
They are presented in taxonomic order and I have in the main followed “Field Guide to Birds of North Queensland” a photographic guide by Phil Gregory and Jun Matsui.
Most are common although some quite rare in this locality.
I added a Fairly Gerigone this morning which I see frequently as one enjoys pecking at one of our windows which has reflective film on the inside. I have seen them along the walk several times but today was my first opportunity to capture an image.
This should give you something to aim for. Good Luck!
